Why did you start the Traineeship?
After graduating from university I wanted to start a career in the IT industry. IT Career Switch provided training and would help me to find employment after training which was really appealing to me.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
I enjoyed the lectures as they were full of great content and taught very well. The best aspect for me is being able to use software that can replicate small network environments. This was a great tool to work alongside the lecture demonstrations and really helped me to learn how to configure different systems.
What's your current role like?
My current role is very interesting. I am a network support engineer with a world leading IT organisation. I am still learning lots and in training but my team is fantastic and as I shadow my colleagues, I can see all of the ways in which we can support many different companies that we provide support to.
