Why did you start the Traineeship?
I started the traineeship as the qualifications offered were relevant to the job I wanted which was IT Support Technician. I had seen other courses offered but the one offered by IT Career Switch was the best value for money and offered exam coupons for the A+ exams which others did not offer.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
I enjoyed the flexibility the most as it allowed me to go at my own pace and absorbed the material at my own speed. I also enjoyed looking forward to getting the certification at the end.
What's your current role like?
My current role is amazing! The company I am with is small but the crew are really easy to get along with and I look forward to getting back to work on Sundays! No more Monday dread for me which is nice. I would never have gotten this job if it wasn’t for Amber Wyllie. She actually sent my CV to the helpdesk ticketing system which put my CV in front of the directors of the company and this landed me the interview. They were not actually hiring at the time but really liked me in the interview and offered me the job the same day.
