Why did you start the Traineeship?
I felt like my previous career path was leading me to a dead end. I have always been interested in computers and encountered IT Career Switch on Indeed. After applying, I was soon contacted by Janet who explained what the traineeship entailed. I decided to take the plunge and don’t regret it.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
The flexible nature of the traineeship allowed me to work through the material at my own pace.
What's your current role like?
My current role is as 1st Line Engineer for a Managed Service Provider. This means that we offer IT support for a number of different companies. The dynamic environment allows me to troubleshoot a multitude of IT problems and put my newly acquired skills to the test. The team that I work with are accommodating and friendly.
